Expect to be hooked almost immediately. This was a Kindle Freebie that I got because I found the title amusing. Inside is an outstanding story with great characters and an intriguing plot.

A man who works for a government organization dies, his girlfriend is pregnant, her mother is in jail for killing her father, the dead man’s sister and husband adopt baby, dead man returns years later not knowing his sister’s child is his. The sister becomes very ill, her adopted child is kidnapped and the girlfriend returns. And that is just the beginning.

While there is a bit more romance than I usually like, it doesn’t interfere with the mystery/thriller. Paying no attention to previous reviewers, I began this book in the evening. Learn from my mistake. While reading this book, one more page becomes a mantra until the book is finished and it is very early in the morning.
